At my day job, I won a superstar trophy for lead generation recently. This trophy is hand out every two weeks to the person who has most improved their lead generation in a two week period of time and I had increased my lead generation by over 7% which is a bit of a jump compared to before. I’ve pretty much always maintained a steady quota of leads at my job, but in recent months I’ve been doing some experimenting with wealth magic, in conjunction with some sales and marketing skills that I’m continuing to improve on, and this trophy was a byproduct of that work.
The wealth magic work has involved using magnetism and gravity as elements for attracting greater wealth. Below is a picture of the latest iteration of my wealth magnet generator (now with stars and moons!). I also use the pentacle of Jupiter in conjunction with the generator, to charge and amplify the generator’s work.
And I have supplemented all of this work with ongoing training I’m doing to become better at both marketing and selling my own writing as well as lead generation at work. Reading The Slight Edge (affiliate link) and Pre-suasion (affiliate link) and applying the techniques in those books has helped me recognize how to show up even more positively while also setting up opportunities to pitch products. I’ve also continued reading and implementing techniques and better practices with advertising and book marketing. I mention this, because as with anything else, the magic you do to get a result works with what you are already doing on the non-magical side. My efforts are allowing me to refine the wealth magic working as well as the activities I’m doing in general to produce better results. I’m a firm believer in making small adjustments to improve to the overall efficacy of one’s work.
So what are the results?
The overall results have been favorable both with my day job and with wealth generation in general. In my day job I’ve been able to consistently generate enough leads to allow me to accumulate star points, which are basically reward points that can be applied to gift cards, travel, and various other activities. For instance, I recently paid for a two way flight and a car rental using star points, which was rather nice when I consider how much money I’m saving as a result. I also used star points to cover a significant amount of Christmas gifts. And in this month alone, I’ve already made back my star points that I spent because of the leads I’m consistently generating.
On the book sales front, I’ve managed to break four figures every month since September of 2019, but in September I barely broke 4 figures, whereas in each month since I’ve been able to generate a higher amount of income, to the point where I’m almost bringing in the same amount of money a month in book sales as I would from my day job.
One of my goals is to go back to full time self-employment. I’ve already determined what I’ll need to accomplish that goal, basically doubling my monthly salary. I think this is entirely doable as I continue to refine and improve my overall process for book sales, and for wealth magic in general. The reason I’m doubling is so that I have money for both my business and for living expenses that need to be met. However to become self-employed again I will need to continue to refine and develop my wealth magic working as well as the additional skills I’m continuing to learn.
For instance, I’ve done a fair amount of experimenting with Amazon Ads, but I’m still learning a lot about how those ads work. I’m experimenting with the ads and sometimes losing a bit of money along the way, in order to improve my overall understanding of how the ads work and how I can use them to sell books. Likewise, I’ve started working Facebook ads, and there is a necessary expenditure along the way that must occur in order to improve the overall wealth generation process.
My approach to wealth magic is to treat it as a process of refinement and improvement. Thus its not a matter of simply setting the wealth magic working and then forgetting about it, but instead doing gradual tweaks and improvements to it, as well as the corresponding activities around it. I use the results I get as indicators that I’m moving in the right direction, but also look for ways to improve upon those results and the processes that are used to achieve them.
